Foreclosure Relief Programs
This has been a busy week in terms of news related to foreclosure relief for homeowners. Following on the heels of Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup's CitiMortgage division and government held Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae have all announced programs aimed at helping homeowners avoid foreclosure and stay in their homes. What follows is a summary of the programs offered by each.
